The Holy Grail

Nebula Knights is a fast-paced competitive dungeon crawler, which encourages rivalry between players in a medieval sci-fi setting. This 3D top-down hack and slash combines competitive couch co-op with the traditional dungeon genre. Uncomplicated controls make the game easy to pick up and understand, to suit our audience of 12 years old and above.

The story follows The Knights of the Round Table. The Knights have been abducted by aliens and the most formidable have been chosen to compete in a tournament for The Holy Grail. Visually, the game has a unique style that complements the originality of the medieval sci-fi setting. To win, players must score the most points by killing enemies, solving puzzles, and finally a race to the end for The Holy Grail. The audio reinforces the space setting through synthesised commentry, music, weapon, death, and enemy sound effects.

About us

Putas

Allocated together as a student team for a group project at Falmouth University we had to quickly learn how to work effectively together. Subscribing to strict Agile software development practices, we adopted the Scrum methodology to make the most of the short amount of time available, and our relative proximity to each other. Daily 'stand ups', an adaptive product back log of comprehensive user stories, programmers often pair programming, and well defined sprints, all aided us to produce a product that we are all truly proud of. A game that is certainly more than the sum of all our parts.
